The University of Mostar has signed an academic cooperation agreement with the National University of Arts in Bucharest (Universitatea Națională de Arte București – UNArte). This collaboration opens new opportunities for the development and enrichment of both academic and artistic fields on both sides.
The National University of Arts in Bucharest, founded in 1864, is the oldest and leading institution in Romania for art education. With over 1,500 students, it covers key branches of fine arts, applied arts, as well as art history and theory. The university is organized into three faculties – the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design, and the Faculty of Art History, offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across fifteen departments.
The cooperation agreement between the University of Mostar and the National University of Arts in Bucharest includes a range of activities aimed at strengthening the ties between the two institutions. These activities include the exchange of teaching, technical, and administrative staff, as well as students. The collaboration also involves the development of new study programs, joint research projects, and the organization of cultural events, conferences, and other activities of mutual interest.
