The University of Mostar will once again host the ERASMUS+ STAFF WEEK, an international event that brings together representatives of European higher education institutions with the goal of exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation. The fifth edition of this program will take place from March 24 to 28, 2025, in Mostar, and this year’s theme, “Building Effective University Alliances,” emphasizes the importance of establishing and developing university alliances.
The University will welcome 38 participants from partner institutions in Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia. During the five-day program, participants will have the opportunity to explore the infrastructure, working methods, and international activities of the University of Mostar, and to engage in discussions and workshops dedicated to international cooperation.
A special focus of this year’s STAFF WEEK will be the presentation of activities within the EUPeace alliance, in which the University of Mostar is an active participant. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about other European university alliances and to exchange best practices.
The International Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Week at the University of Mostar features a series of lectures, discussions, and events aimed at strengthening international cooperation and academic mobility. The program will begin with an official opening at the University Television (SUM TV), where the University of Mostar will be presented, and participants will become acquainted with the organization and work of the University’s International Relations Office.
The second day will focus on presenting the EUPeace alliance, including introductory speeches and presentations from partners in Spain and the Czech Republic. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their own institutions and projects. On the third day, a visit to the Faculty of Medicine will provide a practical insight into international study programs and healthcare projects.
The final part of the program includes a tour of the campus and sports hall in Rodoč, and on the last day, participants will attend the closing session and the certificate award ceremony at the University of Mostar’s main campus.
