New Incoming ERASMUS Exchange at the APTF

The Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology of the University of Mostar hosted Dr. Dominika Skolmowska from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences as part of the ERASMUS+ exchange program. Dr. Skolmowska is an associate professor at the University of Life Sciences in Warsaw. Her areas of expertise are related to dietotherapy and dietary prevention of various diseases such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases.

During her stay, Professor Skolmowska gave a lecture for students and faculty on the DASH diet, which is recommended for the prevention and treatment of hypertension, and the MIND diet, which is recommended for the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. She highlighted scientific findings and practical recommendations related to these current health issues. In addition to the lecture, she had the opportunity to tour the faculty laboratories, research stations, and learn more about the faculty's work and research projects. Her visit was a valuable opportunity for experience exchange and the enhancement of international cooperation.

This meeting further strengthened the partnership between the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, opening up opportunities for future joint projects, research, and academic and student exchanges.

The faculty expresses its gratitude to Professor Skolmowska for her visit and looks forward to continuing the successful collaboration in the future.
