The University of Mostar and the Center for Information Technologies SUMIT have published the proceedings of the second international conference on digital transformation in education and applications of artificial intelligence, MoStart.
Titled Digital Assistants and Assistive Technologies, the volume compiles chapters covered in the MoStart conference program. The main topics include Assistive Technologies in Education, Speech Technologies and Virtual Assistants, and Assistive Technologies in Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation.
The proceedings' secretary and SUMIT member, Josip Doko, expressed pride in the engagement of educators and other stakeholders in the educational process for their participation in this project.
"Through the joint efforts of all education stakeholders, we aim to ensure a higher quality and more accessible education for everyone. Digital assistants and assistive technologies play a key role in inclusion and personalized learning, and this proceedings volume represents a valuable contribution to the further development and application of these technologies in educational and rehabilitation processes," said Doko.
The chief editors of the volume are Tomislav Volarić and Boris Crnokić, while the executive editors are Krešimir Rakić, Emil Brajković, Maja Marić, and Marijan Tustonja. The editorial board consists of Ivan Peko, Hrvoje Ljubić, Mirela Kundid Vasić, Daniel Vasić, Robert Rozić, Tomislav Papac, Marin Bošnjak, Franjo Vučić, Davorka Topić Stipić, Slaven Niče, Valentina Vidović, and Snježana Damjanović.
