QS, a well-known British company specializing in education, has been ranking universities since 2010, using a methodology retained from the time of cooperation with Times Higher Education. The QS methodology includes several relevant indicators such as academic reputation, staff reputation, student-to-academic staff ratio, research citations, international presence (international to domestic staff ratio, international to domestic student ratio), international scientific network, graduate employment outcomes, and sustainable development.

By the way, World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI), the world ranking of universities, published a ranking in May according to which the University of Mostar took 32nd place in the "Fourth Industrial Revolution" category, and in the overall ranking, it was positioned between 101-200 places, which is also the historical success of the University on the ranking charts and confirmation of the efforts invested in the development and visibility of the University not only in the European educational area but also worldwide. The University of Mostar is the only university from Bosnia and Herzegovina on the above list, and from the region, there is the University of Split. Unlike traditional rankings that rely on quantitative university data and statistics, the WURI rankings gather information about innovative programs in two different ways. The first is through the submission of applications from the universities themselves in the categories to which they apply with their programs, and the second is through the collection of data using the Text-Information Analysis (TIA) method.
