The University of Mostar hosted the EUPeace Alliance board meetings on June 17 and 18, 2024. Representatives from the member institutions of the EUPeace Alliance participated in these meetings, where they planned the guidelines for the further development of the project and developed a strategy for long-term cooperation.
During the two-day event, the Steering Committee members discussed key elements of the EUPeace project. Special attention was given to funding, reviewing previous activities within the work packages, establishing research hubs, and considering numerous logistical and organizational issues. These discussions provided the foundation for sustainable and successful project progress.
The members of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Bord played an important role in the discussions, focusing on past activities and the current state at partner universities. The discussions covered necessary documents, strategies, and policies, providing an opportunity for in-depth analysis and strategy alignment. This marked an important step towards achieving the goals of the EUPeace Alliance in promoting peace, cooperation, and sustainability in the European context.
The EUPeace Alliance consists of nine European universities, including the University of Mostar, Philipps-Universität Marburg (Germany), Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany), Comillas Pontifical University (Spain), Cukurova University (Turkey), University of Calabria (Italy), University of Limoges (France), University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), and the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
